Vehicle
was traveling south on S. Reading Ave. (SR 562) in the center of
Boyertown, when a white plastic five gallon bucket fell off the back of
the truck, dumping an unknown yellow powdery substance onto the road
surface. The driver of the truck stopped, picked up the bucket and it’s
remaining contents, and fled, leaving some of the described material on
the street and on fire. The actor then disposed of the bucket and it’s
remaining contents behind an abandoned gas station about a half block from
the original spill location. The
bucket and remaining contents were found, on fire, by responders
investigating the original spill. One to two blocks of S. Reading Ave.
