Synopsis:

The Wyomissing Police Department is continuing their investigation into the robbery and stabbing that occurred on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.  In the case, three armed suspects entered an apartment and took money from the occupants.  During the incident, the victim was stabbed in the stomach and required treatment at a trauma center.  Police investigators are seeking additional information and witnesses of the incident.

Actor #1 - Black male approx. 5'6" dark skin with short dark hair.

 Actor #2 - Black male, light skin, approx. 6'0", with a long goatee on chin. Actor was wearing a brown watchman's cap and brown sweat shirt; actor also has a tattoo "NP" on his neck and had the silver gun.            

Actor #3 - Black male, dark skin, approx. 6'0", and thin build and had the black semi-auto handgun.

Parking lot of the Governor Mifflin Apartments, Cumru Township

Synopsis:

On Sunday morning Nov. 11, 2007 at approx. 02:30 hrs., three males had entered a vehicle on the parking lot of the Governor Mifflin Apartments in the rear of 202 Mansion Drive.  The victims were stopped by actor #1 and told they had a flat tire.  The operator and his brother exited the vehicle and were met by Actor #2 and Actor #3.  The three actors demanded the victim’s money at gunpoint.  The victims gave the actors approx. $5000.00 total in cash and the actors fled the scene in an unknown direction in an older model Toyota dark red or maroon in color.

He was wearing a green jacket with a silver strip on the arms.

Electronics and personal items were removed from the residence.

Synopsis:

On Tuesday November 6, 2007 at 1210 PM a residential burglary occurred at a residence on Trebor Place in the Borough of Wyomissing.  Entry was gained by breaking a rear window of the home.  Electronics and personal items were removed from the residence.  The actor was last scene in the 800 block of Penn Ave  just after the burglary.

The actor was described as a black male 5’9” tall, 200 lbs. and had a large stocky build. He was wearing a green jacket with a silver strip on the arms.

Synopsis:

Victim was called to deliver a pizza to 17 Angelica St when confronted outside by suspect. Suspect accepted both pizzas and asked for change for a 100 dollar bill. The suspect then stabbed victim on the arm using a knife. Suspect fled with pizzas and money.

Synopsis:

On Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at approximately 3:00 PM an elderly female was walking to her car which was parked on the Woodland Road side of the Bon-Ton store located at the Berkshire Mall 1665 State Hill Rd. Wyomissing, Pa. A male suspect approached the female and grabbed her purse off of her arm.  The suspect entered a vehicle which was reported stolen and fled the scene.  Vehicle was driven by another suspect.

Synopsis:

The Caernarvon Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 07:36 A.M. at the Blue Ball Bank (Community Banks) which is located at 750 Crossings Blvd and Main St., Caernarvon Township, PA.  The Actor is described as a Black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” to 6”, skinny build. The Actor was wearing a two tone baseball cap (front half blue in color with white writing on it with the back half all white), tan short sleeve work style shirt and tan work pants and sunglasses.   At the time he was carrying a cardboard box and a clipboard.  The clipboard had some type of form on it with a very large note saying “BANK ROBBERY”.  He was also armed with a black semi auto pistol.

The suspect was hiding near a side entrance when the bank was opening up for business.  He made entry when the two female employees opened up the side door and appeared in the doorway behind them.  He acted as is he was making a delivery.  Once inside the building he put on a white plastic Halloween mask to cover his face and pulled from the waistband of his pants the dark colored semi auto pistol.  He then demanded the employees to open the bank vault which they did.  At which time he had the employee fill his box with the money from the vault.   The suspect then attempted to lock them in the vault but was unsuccessful.  They were then located in maintenance room and he then fled the scene.

24 Air Conditioning Unit Condensers ranging in size from 3’ x 5’ to 4’ x 6’.24 Air Conditioning Unit Condensers ranging in size from 3’ x 5’ to 4’ x 6’.  The condensers contain copper and aluminum, which are sold for scrap. 

Synopsis:

The Cumru Township Police Department is investigating the theft of 24 A/C unit condensers taken from 12 large commercial air conditioners positioned on the roof of the vacant Giant Food Store and A.C. Moore, located at 2251 Lancaster Pike.

The Fleetwood Police are attempting to ID suspects involved with an incident where a victim had her credit cards stolen at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Tilden Twp.   The suspects used the credit cards in Schuylkill Co. at a Staples in the Cressona Mall and a Giant food Store in Pottsville.   They purchased laptops, etc. and two gift cards worth approx. $300 each at the Giant.   The actors are believed to have returned to western Berks Co. and attempted to sell the Giant gift cards outside a Giant store and also possibly attempted to use a credit card at a Office Depot store.

Sometime during the above mentioned time frame, unknown subjects entered a secured storage area at Pierce Welding and Fabrication and removed over 5000 pounds of new stainless steel plates and approximately 1000 pounds of scrap stainless steel.  The total loss to the business is in excess of $27,000.00.

Synopsis:

The Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department is currently investigating a large theft of gas from Top Star Mobil located on Route #222, just north of Long Lane, in Maxatawny Township. On June 1, 2007 at approximately 3:30 in the morning, unknown suspect(s) pumped out 2,652 gallons of regular gas from the under ground tanks. The financial loss is approximately $7800.00.

Synopsis:

The suspect entered the mini market and approached the female clerk while holding a knife in his hand. The suspect ordered the clerk to open the cash drawer and hand over the money. The clerk opened the cash drawer and handed over an undetermined amount of cash to the suspect.  The suspect walked out the front door and turned right, walking toward Pershing Blvd. The suspect was not seen after that.

Synopsis:

The Sinking Spring Police are investigating an attempted burglary which occurred on 5/22/2007 at approx. 14:30 hrs. Victim came home to her apartment on James St., and when she entered her apartment she found a W/M, approx. 40 years old, approx. 5'8" tall with medium length sandy hair and a brown mustache, inside her apartment. Subject stated he was maintenance and was checking windows. There was no forced entry into the apartment. Subject was not part of the maintenance crew, nor sent there to check windows. He left the apartment and walked south from the victim's apartment toward Hillpoint Circle.

Damages to victim's car; structural damage to the Hampton Inn, and damage to tools and equipment in the hotel where the car struck it.

Synopsis:

The Wyomissing Police Department continues to investigate a hit and run accident that occurred on Paper Mill Road.  The striking vehicle, while traveling south on Papermill Road, struck the passenger's side rear of a vehicle, that was traveling west on Berkshire Boulevard.  ’s vehicle spun and ran over the curb and continued across the Hampton Inn parking lot until striking the building near the main entrance.  The victim's vehicle came to rest inside of a ground level office area of the hotel.  suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Police are seeking to identify the striking vehicle, which was described as an early 90's red Chevrolet Cavalier

*** RECKLESS ENDANGERING CAUSING OR RISKING A CATASTROPHE & LITTERING ***

Suspect:

  White male, possibly in his mid thirties, average height and build, average length dark hair. Vehicle was a white pick-up truck, older model, in poor condition, tailgate falling off, possibly a Chevy or GMC.

Saturday 5/19/07 approx. 1:15 PM

49 S. Reading Ave. (Route 562) in Boyertown

Synopsis:

Vehicle was traveling south on S. Reading Ave. (SR 562) in the center of Boyertown, when a white plastic five gallon bucket fell off the back of the truck, dumping an unknown yellow powdery substance onto the road surface. The driver of the truck stopped, picked up the bucket and it’s remaining contents, and fled, leaving some of the described material on the street and on fire. The actor then disposed of the bucket and it’s remaining contents behind an abandoned gas station about a half block from the original spill location.  The bucket and remaining contents were found, on fire, by responders investigating the original spill. One to two blocks of S. Reading Ave. (Route 562), along with several local side streets, were closed for about three and a half hours while emergency response personnel investigated and contained the spill. Assisting local police and fire companies were the Berks County Emergency Management Agency’s Special Operations Group, and the PA Department of Environmental Protection’s Emergency Response Team.

The Spring Township Police Department is investigating a Bank Robbery at the M & T Bank located at 2715 North Meridan Blvd.  An actor entered the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding money.  Suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No weapon was displayed.

Windows broken out of the rear of the building, and spray painting on three sides of the building. Estimated cost of damage $5000.00.

Synopsis:

Over the past month unknown actors have broken out six windows in the rear of the building at Fleetwood Industries 3001 St. Lawrence Ave. The unknown actors also spray painted graffiti on three exterior walls of the building. The building is unoccupied at this time. 

Note: There has also been some vandalism (spray painting) on other commercial buildings in the area over the past several weeks.

Kendrick Vogle, B-M-62, Allentown, PA, a 23 year employee of the facility.

Synopsis:

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop L Major Case Team responded to the above location for a death investigation.  The Pennsylvania State Police are currently working with the Fleetwood Police Department, Berks County Coroner’s Office, and Berks County District Attorney’s Office. 

Sometime during the evening hours of April 24th, 2007 between 7PM to 11PM, the victim was attacked, struggled, and was killed in his vehicle in the east parking lot of the facility.

Pennsylvania State Police have a command post at the scene.

Hispanic male, 20-25, beige colored down coat brown around hood. Suspect wearing gloves and cap talking on cell phone as he entered bank. Thin face, 6' tall, thin mustache and goatee and beard.

Undisclosed amount of cash

Synopsis:

The Reading Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at about 9:26 AM, in the 900 Block of North 9th. Street.  Suspect entered the bank with a hood up on his coat and talking on a black flip phone. He handed the teller a note demanding money and threatened to have a gun.  Suspect fled with cash.

Synopsis:

The Reading Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, April 2, 2007, at about midnight in the 600 Block of Tulpehocken Street.  The two victims were walking together when they were approached by the suspects in a green vehicle, possibly a Dodge Intrepid.  One suspect pulled a shot gun and pointed it at the victims and demanded their money.  One victim handed over a wallet and house keys.

Birdsboro-Friendship Fire Company No. 1 and Social Quarters, located at 214 West 2nd Street in Birdsboro.  Unknown suspects entered the building and removed cash, liquor and assorted fire fighting tools.

Thin white male in his 30s, 6’-6’2’’, approx. 150 lbs, brown (thinning) hair, and clean shaven.  He was reportedly wearing jeans and a brown medium jacket that was neat in appearance.  He was also described as being well-spoken.  The male left the scene in a 1995 to 2001 dark red/ maroon 4-door Chevrolet Lumina.

Synopsis:

On March 9th, 2007, the Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department was dispatched for a residential burglary that had just occurred on Grim Road in Maxatawny Township , Berks County.  According to the victims, they arrived home at 1:15pm and found a suspicious vehicle parked in their driveway.  As they approached the car, a male emerged from the rear of the residence.  The male stated that he was at the wrong address and left the area.  Upon entering their home, the victims discovered that they had been burglarized.  Electronic equipment and cash were taken.

Synopsis:

The victim was outside of his home in the rear alley when he was confronted by three suspects. One brandished a silver hand gun and pointed it at victim and demanded his money. The actors searched victim's pockets but found no money. Subjects fled on foot. Suspects match description of other suspects from similar robberies.

Synopsis:

As employees closed the business an unknown male approached from behind a nearby building. The male confronted an employee who was carrying bank deposit bags and demanded the bags be turned over. Employee complied. The male took the bag, which contained cash and checks, and fled north behind the business. Actor was described as being app. 507, stocky build, wearing a dark ski mask and heavy dark jacket. Possibly light skinned male.

The Reading Police Department is investigating a shooting which occurred in the 300 Block of S. 7th Street.  On February 17, 2007, the victim was standing on the sidewalk talking on a cell phone when a tan newer model Taurus drove onto the block.  Someone fired at least six shots.  The victim was struck in the chest and right leg.

The Reading Police Department is investigating a burglary which occurred at 352 Penn Street, the Greater Berks County Visitors Center.  On January 21, 2007, unknown actors entered the business by forcing a basement door.  Once inside they went to the first floor and went to the office area where they removed assorted office equipment.  Actors used a blue hand truck to remove the equipment.

Synopsis:

The Cumru Township Police are investigating a theft from a new home construction site on Burgundy Drive in the township.  Unknown actors entered the site and removed a large quantity of lumber (mostly 2X4X8’s and 2X6X8’s), as well as ladders and other tools sometime between Wednesday, January 24th at 5:00 PM and Thursday, January 25th at 7:00 AM.  There is no suspect information, however a pickup truck or similar vehicle would have been needed to remove the items.

The Wyomissing Police Department continues an investigation into a residential burglary  that occurred at a home on Cherrywood Road on January 26, 2007.  Unknown actors gained entry by prying open a window and once inside the actor searched the entire house and took various items from the residence.  A neighbor observed a small white colored vehicle parked in that general location around the time of the incident.

Synopsis:

The Wyomissing Police Department continues an investigation into a residential burglary and vehicle theft that occurred November 9, 2006.  The victims stated that between midnight and 6:00 A.M. someone broke into the basement of the house.  The first indication of a problem was when the victims noticed that her purse was missing from where she placed it on the floor and then looked outside and noticed that their vehicle, a blue Honda Pilot, was also missing from the driveway.  Besides the vehicle there were several other items, mainly home electronics that were also taken.  Police have since recovered the vehicle; however the case remains under continuing investigation.

Four twenty seven inch flat screen TVs.

Synopsis:

During the hours of darkness and extreme fog the evening of December 13th (Wednesday) and the early morning of December 14th (Thursday) 2006, unknown subjects committed a theft at Stoltzfus RV and Marine.  The subjects first cut a chain link fence of a sales lot gaining access to numerous high and travel trailers.  From the trailers, four 27” flat screen TV’s were then removed.  The subjects used a 2001 or newer Dodge Caravan to commit this crime.

On 11/27/06 several credit cards were stolen from an apartment in the 800 block of Park Rd. N. in Wyomissing Borough.  The Wyomissing Police Department is seeking the identity of the pictured black or dark skinned Hispanic male for using one of the stolen credit cards in a Spring Twp. Wawa Store.  The male got into a large red colored truck with an attached white box.  There is an air conditioning unit over the cab. The cards were used in multiple stores throughout Berks County.

On Dec. 28, 2006 at approx. 0730hrs. 2 Hispanic males entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the Giant Food store parking lot located at 600 Lancaster Ave. and took a tote bag. The actors were last seen in a small white, 4-door Vehicle leaving the lot.
